SciTE can be run on Mac by using MacPorts to install SciTE port. Just install MacPorts base program, and then run the following command...
This will take some noticable time to install various dependencies but you only need to do it once and they can be used by other ports when you decided to install more software from MacPorts later.
sudo port install scite
