Mac Snow Leopard Phone USB Internet

I have a mobile phone (LG GB210) that today need it to serve the internet to my Mac mini. I found out that I can connect this LG phone to my Mac mini, and the Mac will see it as LGE USB Device in Network Preferences. After that I just put the correct APN under advanced setting of this USB device. And then connect to the internet using my phone via usb cable.

I found this USB solution after failed trying to connect via Bluetooth DUN. And for the USB device to be found by Mac, I need to set the phone USB connection to act as Data service instead of Mass storage.
